Emova brings its teams together for a strategic seminar in Saint-Malo

Emova, organized its second corporate seminar in Saint-Malo, a landmark event bringing together the entire company.

The event was an opportunity for the Emova team to get together in person, away from screens and virtual conferences, to strengthen ties and define the launch strategy for 2024. As an innovative start-up with members spread all over the country, these get-togethers are particularly important.

The seminar provided a platform for exchange and reflection on Emova’s business strategy. With a particular focus on penetrating the Korean market, the team discussed the unique challenges and opportunities associated with this international expansion.

At the same time, an in-depth focus was placed on the French market, underlining the importance of consolidating domestic positions. Marketing efforts, local partnerships and adjustments to the solution to meet the specific needs of the French market were at the heart of the discussions.

Dedicated sessions were devoted to strategic planning, the road map and internal workflow, with a particular focus on the new enhancements expected to deliver an even more immersive virtual fitting experience.

Beyond the strategic discussions, the seminar was also an opportunity to strengthen team cohesion and consolidate a shared vision. Collaborative workshops enabled team members to actively contribute to Emova’s vision, creating a sense of collective commitment to the company’s goals.

Interview with Gaël Seydoux on BFM Business – Emova Revolutionizes the E-commerce Virtual Fitting Experience

Have you ever made an online purchase only to discover, once you’d opened the parcel, that the garment didn’t fit at all? This disappointment is common, and it’s a problem that Emova is working to solve. Gaël Seydoux, the company’s co-founder, was recently interviewed by Annalisa Capelini on BFM Business to discuss this revolutionary innovation.

“We create a realistic avatar from a three-image selfie, then this 3D avatar represents you. It’s exactly you. It has the same mimics, the same texture, the same light, and so on. And above all, we mix it with the object, make-up, glasses, earrings, hats and the whole thing gives a rendering a bit like in a real store.”

Unlike other virtual fitting technologies, Emova offers a more precise, emotional experience.

“You create an intimate relationship with your digital double. It’s quite playful, quite immersive. You look at yourself, you observe yourself, a bit like in your bathroom, you see yourself in profile thanks to a set of mirrors.”

This innovation not only arouses emotion, but also stimulates online sales. Emova offers a more accurate solution than augmented reality, because everything is in 3D, eliminating the problem of objects “floating”. What’s more, this technology enables the atmosphere to be changed, creating a more immersive virtual fitting experience.

Emova plans to extend its solution to other areas, but is currently focusing on the face and hands, particularly for jewelry. Realistic representation is a key feature of this technology.

The interview also touched on pricing, how Emova works as a B2B solution, and the fact that the company is currently conducting Proofs Of Concept with partners to test its product on the market.

Emova brings significant innovation to e-commerce by offering a more accurate, emotional and immersive virtual fitting experience, which could reduce costly returns for brands and improve customer satisfaction.

This revolutionary technology promises to change the way we buy products online, and offers an exciting glimpse into the future of e-commerce.

Emova changes the face of e-commerce: Interview with Capital

Emova aims to disrupt the luxury industry by enabling customers to try on jewels and accessories online, using 3D. That is why the startup was chosen to present its solution on the TV set of the economic media ‘Capital’ during the Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France.

Thanks to Emova, all it takes is a few images to create a realistic 3D avatar.

This means you can try on items such as glasses, make-up or jewelry in real time, improving the online shopping experience. This technology reduces costly returns for brands, (over 100 million euros in lost sales by 2021) Emova allows to try on a large number of items, avoiding hygiene concerns.

To implement the solution, brands can integrate it directly into their online stores via an API. Currently based between Rennes, Paris and Montpellier, Emova also has an office in Seoul, a fast-growing market.

Emova’s difference is its entirely 3D approach, making possible an exceptional level of detail and precise control of light and facial movements.

Compared to augmented reality providers, Emova differentiates itself by its comprehensive 3D approach. Users can create and manage avatars, stored securely in the RGPD-compliant blockchain.

Emova’s technology is compatible with metaverse, a fast-growing trend, offering a more immersive shopping experience. Although the solution currently focuses on jewelry and accessories, Emova plans to tackle apparel as well.

Currently with 12 members, the company has successfully raised its first round of funding and is planning a larger round to continue its development.

Emova offers brands the possibility of personalizing the fitting environment, creating a unique online shopping experience for customers.

This meeting with Capital underlines Emova’s significant impact on the future of online shopping. The ability to try on products virtually and realistically transforms the customer experience, while offering significant benefits to brands. Emova technology is a major breakthrough for e-commerce, promising new dimensions in the interaction between customers and products.

[Press Release] Emova signs a research agreement with Silo AI to push the rendering of its hyper-realistic avatars further

Emova, a Deep Tech startup from Rennes, announces a research agreement with Silo AI, one of Europe’s largest private AI labs, in order to optimize the rendering of its avatars.

The Emova solution makes it possible to create a hyper-realistic 3D digital twin from a simple panoramic selfie, thus offering a next-generation virtual fitting experience for e-commerce.
